Analytic Feedback Scale

The TASC–ASL analytic feedback scale  contains descriptions of typical performance with respect to each performance characteristic at each level of performance proficiency. It provides additional information that further defines the criteria for effective American Sign Language communication. As a part of the scoring process, candidates who do not pass the test receive feedback on their score reports indicating the performance characteristics in which they may need improvement. For the TASC–ASL, these performance characteristics have been defined as range of communication and comprehension and intelligibility, as demonstrated through fluency, vocabulary/grammar and use of space.
