TX PACT: Core Subjects: Grades 4–8 (790)

Beginning August 5, 2024, a revised TX PACT: Core Subjects: Grades 4–8 exam will be available with fewer selected-response questions. The number of selected-response questions in each exam section will be reduced from 50 to 40 questions; however, the exam session length will remain the same.

If you have an appointment scheduled before August 5, 2024, and would prefer to take the revised exam with fewer questions, you must cancel your current appointment and reschedule your new appointment for August 5, 2024, or later. If you already have an appointment scheduled on or after August 5, 2024, you do not need to change your appointment to take the shortened exam.

The final administration of the TX PACT: Core Subjects: Grades 4–8 exam in its current format will be August 3, 2024. No exam appointments will be available on August 4, 2024.
